Based on a wet chemical reaction, this identification test is extremely reliable and easy to use. Insert a small amount (roughly 20mg) of powdered cocaine, as well as the liquid contained in the buffer solution bottle included in the kit and observe colour change. Compare with the colour chart included in the leaflet.
The darker the colour, the less impurities (adulterants, cuts) are contained in the sample.
If the test does not react, the sample does not contain cocaine.
This test does not identify the adulterants used to cut cocaine such as levamisole, phenacetine and ephedrine. To identify those substances, we recommend the Cocaine Adulterants Test Kit.
Accurate result within 1 minute.
While colour metric testing is the best method for on-the-spot screening, it is never 100% conclusive. There are many variables that can impact the result, such as user error, contaminants, and fillers. The results of a colour metric kit should be confirmed by a professional where possible using a referenced analytical method such as HPLC and GCMS.
Neither a positive result, nor a negative result means a drug is safe to use.
