Designer Drugs – Presence

This kit is used for the identification of some presumptive new synthetic drugs. These include MDAI, 6-APB, Ethylphenidate, Methiopropamine, Fluroamphetamine and 2-Aminoindan. These new synthetic drugs are all the more dangerous because they are also frequently used as cutting products for “conventional” drugs, such as heroin or cocaine. Single use kit only.

Introduce into the test a small quantity of the substance to be identified, and the granules contained in the ampoule change colour. Then compare the colour of the granules with the chart included in the kit.

While colour metric testing is the best method for on-the-spot screening, it is never 100% conclusive. There are many variables that can impact the result, such as user error, contaminants, and fillers. The results of a colour metric kit should be confirmed by a professional where possible using a referenced analytical method such as HPLC and GCMS.

Neither a positive result, nor a negative result means a drug is safe to use.
