Vials are for storing samples for testing only. Use them to collect a sample from a supplier for testing prior to purchase, or to store a sample for further testing at a later date.
While colour metric testing is the best method for on-the-spot screening, it is never 100% conclusive. There are many variables that can impact the result, such as user error, contaminants, and fillers. The results of a colour metric kit should be confirmed by a professional where possible using a referenced analytical method such as HPLC and GCMS.
Neither a positive result, nor a negative result means a drug is safe to use.
