Everyone has heard the familiar stories of people that got scammed by online PED stores, forum recommended brands, or their local backyard supplier.

  • “I spent all this money on X Brand, and got no results / my bloods showed my levels didn’t go up as they should have”
  • “I ordered hundreds of dollars’ worth of gear, but it never arrived”
  • “I complained about the gear and despite their “we will replace it if you aren’t happy” promise, they ghosted me”

Since what you are buying is illegal, suppliers know you have no recourse if they rip you off, and they know most people aren’t going to recognise if gear is substandard anyway – so the incentive to keep selling something even when they have no legitimate stock is high. Especially since Covid made importing and transporting products around Australia harder and slower.

How reliable are Underground PEDs in Australia? The answer is – they generally aren’t, and ones that could be considered “reliable” often don’t stay that way for long.

When it comes to PEDs, know the risks

Buying anything online is always a risk, but especially with illegal products. Never use credit cards, and never buy from a new supplier in bulk.

DO NOT buy from any supplier that “cold calls” you via a messaging platform or via a forum. Suppliers do not reach out to new potential customers, scammers do. Often these scammers will have a username that is almost identical to a legitimate supplier, are using a hacked supplier account, or have bought a contact list.

Accept that once your money is spent, you will not get it back if there is a problem. Suppliers will not give refunds and complaining about their quality will most likely get you nowhere. This isn’t like asking to see the manager at BigW because your new TV doesn’t work – you bought an illegal substance from a drug dealer.

Search online to see where Australians have discussed what online suppliers are scams. There are several operating in Australia who take your money and either send you nothing, or send you bunk gear. On occasion they may send something legitimate to new customers to make sure you come back, but these sites WILL scam you the next time. Do your research before trusting any online supplier and check again periodically for any reports of them starting to scam people.

Make informed decisions by testing every batch of PEDs bought

Even the legitimate supplier websites sell bunk gear mixed in with the good – especially those with multiple brands for sale. Our database of results contains over 90 steroid brands active within Australia and the majority of poor results come from multi-brand online steroid stores – both the scam ones and the legitimate ones.

So how do you keep from spending your money on junk?

  1. Buy a small amount, and either get it tested overseas (takes up to 4 weeks and costs >$150), or use a test kit from pedtestaustralia.com
  2. If you are using a local supplier, ask for a sample to test. We sell empty 2ml sample vials for this purpose
  3. If the results are good, that’s great – but test every time you order as it may have changed by the next batch
  4. Keep photos of the results so you can compare between batches and see when quality and potency changes or drops
  5. DO NOT trust that because a brand was once good that it still is. Brands go downhill very quickly
