Who is Janoshik Analytical?

Janoshik is a legal laboratory in the Czech Republic that analyse samples of performance-enhancing drugs from the public, including from Australia.

You can view a list of their services at www.janoshik.com, and email them using [email protected]. Prices are in USD.

How do people order and pay?

It is important to send samples correctly. When emailing your order, you must include the following:

  • Country sending from
  • Payment type preferred (transfer, bitcoin, card, Wise transfer)
  • The client name to be put on the result report (email, anonymous, etc.)
  • Type of analysis requested (the list can be found here Janoshik Analytical.)
  • Sample type (powder, oil, capsule, steroid raw, peptide raw, etc)
  • The sample label/number (so the sample can be matched to your email to avoid confusion)
  • Manufacturer, batch number if you want.

Once you have placed your order, Janoshik will provide a quote and any additional details.

The authenticity of reports generated by Janoshik can be verified on their website.  If you ever see a certificate online that you think has been copied/forged, please notify Janoshik with all the information so they can investigate.

How do people send samples?

FedEx and UPS are the preferred way to ship samples, as the customs fees and clearance is included which prevents long delays and extra costs. Janoshik must receive the tracking number before the shipment arrives, or it will not be accepted.

  • For tablets/capsules – Only two are required.
  • Oils must not leak. Only approved containers (not original vials unless discussed and approved) can be used. PEDTest sample vials are approved and can be purchased here Empty Sample Vial Set (5) – PED Test Australia. Only 0.5 to 1 ml of oil is required.
  • For raws, at least 200mg is required

Janoshik will provide detailed instructions for the packaging and labelling of samples and the required information for customs clearance.

What are the analysis options?

“Blind anabolic steroid screening” is the name for HPLC analysis. It will only detect steroids in the sample, not other contaminants (orals and raws will also be checked for aromatase inhibitors).

It is important during ordering to say whether the sample is oil, oral, raw or liquid suspension.

Analysis for SARMs, peptides, HGH, cutting agents (such as Clen), PCT drugs, EQ and other less common steroids are all done as separate analyses that need to be specified when ordering as they require a different setup.

If more advanced techniques are required (for heavy metals and other contaminants), Janoshik can advise how much sample is needed and whether GC/MS would be more appropriate.

What does the result mean?

You will receive a result for steroid analysis that says the steroids identified and the amount detected in mg/ml for oils or mg per tablet/capsule for orals. Raws will be given a purity in %.

So if the result is 245.55 mg/ml, does that mean this is the EXACT amount in the oil?

No. You need to take into account the margin of error.

Any analysis type will have a certain amount of error, and in the case of oils and orals through this lab, your result will have up to 5% error. Liquid suspensions and Clenbuterol analysis will have up to 10% error. This is normal; every lab has specific error values depending on analysis type, equipment, etc.

So, if your result is 245.55mg/ml, the actual amount in your vial can be anywhere from 5% less than this amount to 5% more (233.2 – 257.8 mg/ml).

If a raws result is 94% purity, the actual purity is anywhere from 89.3 – 98.7%.

How often should analysis be done?

In an ideal scenario, suppliers would get every batch of raws analysed, and end users would also have a sample of each batch of product they buy analysed.

However, that is not efficient or economically feasible for most people. An easier and cheaper option is to combine analysis and test kits. Here is an example of what we would recommend for users with a brand they trust (and can also be done by suppliers themselves):

Example testing schedule for Test E:

  1. Send off a sample to Janoshik for analysis, as well as doing a potency and presence kit. This gives you an idea of exactly how a specific brand looks when a kit is tested at a specific potency. Photograph the results and save with a copy of the lab report. This is now your REFERENCE STANDARD. Routine bloods also round out the picture.
  2. The next time you buy a batch of Test E from that particular brand, use test kits and compare the result to your reference standard results. Has it varied? If not, you can assume this batch is very similar to the previous lab result.
  3. Continue testing each batch bought, comparing back to the original. As soon as one gives different kit results, send a sample of it to be analysed.
  4. By saving the photos and lab results and keeping a spreadsheet of dates, products and results, you are creating your own tracking database. You will know immediately when the brand changes quality, if potency drops, or if they start swapping products, and you will have the lab results to verify.

Something like this removes the uncertainty and guesswork involved and gives you the data to control your usage. It helps to remove the temptation to think “this might be underdosed so Ill just double the dose and see what happens”.

Regular testing, lab analysis and bloods combined can significantly reduce the health and financial risks involved with steroid use.
