This test is used to identify Fentanyl and Oxycodone and can also identify Codeine. Add a small amount of sample to the ampoule and compare the colour change to the chart included in the instructions.
While colour metric testing is the best method for on-the-spot screening, it is never 100% conclusive. There are many variables that can impact the result, such as user error, contaminants, and fillers. The results of a colour metric kit should be confirmed by a professional where possible using a referenced analytical method such as HPLC and GCMS.
