This kit is for the detection of nitazene and its derivatives in powders, solids, liquids or on surfaces.
Nitazenes are a class of synthetic opioids, originally intended for analgesic use. In recent years, however, they have been used as a cutting agent for a number of other drugs, mainly opioids such as heroin and fentanyl, but also other types of substance such as cocaine.
This test is a risk-reduction tool which detects nitazenes (nitazene, protonitazene, isotonitazene etc.) in different ways:
- To detect the presence of Nitazenes in powders, crystals, tablets, liquids etc…
Simply take a few milligrams of the substance to be tested. The test then explicitly defines whether the sample contains a nitazene derivative, with a positive or negative result. - To detect invisible traces of Nitazenes on surfaces and all types of objects.
The sterile swab supplied in the kit is used to collect residual microscopic particles from any object, utensil or support that has been used to handle nitazene. The test then identifies them clearly, with a positive or negative result.
