Very simple to use, this test is based on a wet chemical reaction.
Insert a small amount of the substance to be identified, and compare the colour change to the chart included on the instructions leaflet.
While colormetric testing is the best method for on-the-spot screening, it is never 100% conclusive. There are many variables that can impact the result, such as user error, contaminants, and fillers. The results of a colour metric kit should be confirmed by a professional where possible using a referenced analytical method such as HPLC and GCMS.
Neither a positive result, nor a negative result means a drug is safe to use.
